love at first sight (alternate story) ch.2

It had been just a few minutes since Ash descended through the woods which according to Serena's navigator would lead them straight to the city and even though the two had only been together for about ten minutes they were already a loving couple. Sure enough Serena's navigator proved to be right as the city was right in front of them.

Ash: Alright there it is!

Pikachu: (excitedly) Pika Pika

Serena: Wow it's beautiful isn't in fennekin

Fennekin: (in apporval) fen

Serena: So Ash wanna head to the mall over there?

Ash: Sure why not?

And so Ash and Serena ran downhill straight to the mall. As Ash got some creme-filled sugar cookies for the both of them Serena was trying on hats at a store just 1 floor up. For about 10 minutes Serena was in conflict which hat she should choose until finally she chose a pinkish-reddish hat with a black bow around it's base

Serena: I'll take this one

Cashier: Ok that'll be 19.84

After Serena paid for it she went to meet up with Ash to show off her new hat.Serena spotted Ash almost right away.

Serena: Ash! (gives ash a hug)

Ash: Serena what a surprise

Serena: Whaddya got there?

Ash: Just some creme-filled sugar cookies here's one for you (gives Serena a cookie)

Serena: Thanks (takes a bite) I've got something too

Ash: Really? What?

Serena: Well close your eyes first

Though usually when someone told Ash to close his eyes usually a mean prank would follow but judging from her calm tone and sweet nature there was no way she would do it or would she? Either way Ash closed eyes. As Ash did so Serena reached for the shopping bag that she was holding to pull out the hat she had bought and put it on and when she did she quickly striked a pose.

Serena: Ok you can look now

Ash opened his eyes to see Serena a hat. But even though it was just that a hat it was still enough to make him stunned speechless.

Serena: So how do i look?

Ash could only say one word

Ash: Amazing

Serena smiled with a slight blush on her face. Ash himself couldn't help blush himself

Ash: So you wanna get that lunch now?

Serena: Uh-huh does a burger sound nice?

Ash: Definitely

Ash then noticed Serena taking off the hat

Ash: Wait don't take it off i rather like it on

Serena: (excited) Really?

Ash: Yup

And with that Serena put it back on she then grabbed on to ash's hand as they went down to the food-court. Meanwhile on the other side of the mall Iris, Cilan, and Dawn arrived.

Dawn: (turning to iris) Did you really have to injure Ash with that?!

Iris: I didn't think it was gonna happen!!

Cilan: Hey knock it off you two we're in a mall for god's sake!!

Both dawn and iris: Sorry

just then Dawn heard a most familiar voice

Brock: Dawn!

Dawn: Brock what are you doing here!?

Brock: I heard you and Ash were heading over here so i traveled to Unova for a bit and I brought May, Max, and Misty along with me

And sure enough Misty, Max, and May caught up and saw Brock talking to Iris, Cilan, and Dawn

May: Dawn is that you?! (hugs dawn)

Dawn: May! and this must be Max

Max: Nice to meet you

Dawn: And you must be misty right

(Misty nods)

Misty: So who are your friends

Iris: I'm Iris

Cilan: And I'm Cilan

Dawn: They're Ash's current traveling companions

May: Cool

Misty: Hey speaking of Ash where is he?

Iris: Um well

Cilan: We kinda got separated from him

Max: What how?

Dawn: Why don't you tell them Iris

Iris not wishing to face the wrath of everyone decided to fess up

Iris: We were walking down the road when me and Ash got into an argument it was then that I made a bet with him that he had a girlfriend by the end of the day i would stop calling him a little kid i stated that it wasn't like a girl was going to run over him and sure enough just like that a girl ran over him and the two fell into the  forest below but by the time we got there they were already gone but luckily we followed their tracks with my Axew's scent and it led to this mall

Brock: Then we have to look for him

Just then a boy with glasses and a girl about Max's age approached them

Clemont: Um excuse me um does this friend of yours have black hair, brown eyes, and wear a baseball cap?

Iris:Uh yeah why?

Clemont: Because me and my sister saw him heading over to the food court not to long ago

Bonnie: These girls are pretty cute clemont maybe you should date one

Clemont: Bonnie please not here! I'm so sorry she's a bit eccentric

Dawn: It's okay happens all the time (thinking): He is cute though

Misty: The food court that's on the other side of the mall

May: Then let's go!

All: Right


Meanwhile at the food court Ash and Serena had lunch with much coversation

Ash: Wow your mom is really expectant of you

Serena: Yeah at least your mom understands your dreams and goals

Ash: Yup so what's rhyhorn racing like?

Serena: It sounds good on paper but the reality is for me is that's a complete pain in the ass

Ash: How so?

Serena: Back at home my mom would get me up using her fletchling and then her fletching would peck at my head and yell in my ear

Ash: Wow that is a pain so why did you decide to come to Unova?

Serena: Well for one thing i was getting sick of doing laps around the house every morning 24/7 and second i saw you on a news story in Unova i recognized you from the boy i met at camp i got my fennekin and well here i am.

Serena then noticed ash smiling in a cocky way.

Serena: Why are you smiling like that?

Ash: Oh nothing i just can't wait to see the look on Iris's face when she sees that she lost the bet

Serena: Who's Iris and what Bet?

Ash: Iris is one of my current traveling companions and remember when you ran over me?

Serena: Um yeah?

Ash: Well around that time me and Iris got into a bit of argument

Serena: What were you arguing over?

Ash: Well throughout my journey in Unova Iris has constantly been calling me a "little kid" in a very immature way and sure enough that argument began over her calling me a kid until she made a bet with me saying that if she were to stop i was to get a girlfriend by the end of the day.

Serena: Wow talk about Irony so is that why you wanted to me to be your girlfriend? So you could just win this bet?

Ash: What of course not (Ash grabs Serena's hands) I asked  you to be my girlfriend because i love you. When i saw you for the first time back at camp i never saw a girl so beautiful in my life and after i helped you after you kissed me I knew i was in love and one of the reasons i decided to go on my journey was to one day find you and be with you

Serena was so happy that she shed a few tears in happiness

Serena: Oh Ash thank you (Hugs Ash)

After a few minutes Serena let go of Ash and soon an idea came into her head

Serena: Hey Ash

Ash: Yeah Serena

Serena: I think I've got an idea (Serena winks)

Ash: Sure lay it on me

Serena whispered into Ash's ear after hearing Ash excitedly and humorously said

Ash: Oh god totally!

It was then that after they finished their food headed out to the Pokemon center to execute their "Plan" after they checked in and left their Pokemon to Nurse joy they stood outside in the backyard of the Pokemon center and waited for Ash's friends to arrive. And sure enough approximately a half-hour later. Clemont, Bonnie, Brock, Cilan, May, Max, Misty, Dawn, and Iris arrived at the Pokemon center

Dawn: Hey nurse joy has a kid named Ash checked in?

Nurse Joy: Yes in fact he's right outside

Dawn: Oh thank you!

Brock: Oh and Nurse joy i was wondering if you and i could go out for ...

Max: OH NO YOU DON'T! ( Max pulls Brock's ear)

(Clemont, Bonnie, Iris, and Cilan burst out laughing)

Misty: Guys come on!

Meanwhile outside

Ash: Serena they're coming quick!

Serena: Ok!

10 seconds later the group came outside only to discover most surprising

Misty: (gasping)

Cilan: What what is it Oh wow.

May: OOOOKKaaay

Dawn: Wow i'm speechless

Max: Grooooosss!!

Bonnie: Awww cute!!

Clemont: Ummmmmmm

Brock: Huh i never knew he had it in him

Iris: Guys move over i can't seeeeeeeeeeeeee....

Everyone was now in shock and Awe  to see Ash passionately kissing a girl on the lips. Ash put his Arm's around Serena's waist as Serena put her hands on his cheeks to deepen the kiss. After a few minutes the two seperated, blushing, and with their eyes full of passion.

Iris: Wow you really are a kid.

Serena: The only kid here is you Iris. Ash isn't a kid not to me in fact from what he told me you're way more immature.

Iris: Who are you anyway?!

Serena then turned to Ash who then nodded in approval. Then Serena put on the cockiest smile anyone could smile, put her hands on her hips, looked Iris straight in the eye and then said a thing Iris would never forget.


Serena: My name's Serena and I'm Ash's girlfriend


Iris screamed loudly in defeat while everyone else couldn't help but laugh at her agony. As they were doing that Ash and Serena then sat on a bench.

Serena:I love you Ash

Ash: I love you too Serena.

They stood into each other's eyes and leaned in for another kiss.
